A kaleidoscope of multidisciplinary work shaped by culture, experimentation, and creative reinvention. Over four transformative years in New York, Dru Blumensheid balanced a role in buying at Issey Miyake while building BUMESI from her Brooklyn studio. This period gave rise to boundary-pushing psychological fashion films screened internationally—from SHOWstudio in London and NYU to the Harlem International Film Festival and the Fashion Film Festival Mexico. Through collaborations with artist Dizmology, large-scale sculptural installations including work exhibited at the World Trade Center, and fashion photography presented in Queens, New York became a platform for developing a richly multicultural creative practice after eight years living abroad in Melbourne.
